On September 14, the China-Eurasian Conference on Intellectual Property and Technologies was held in Beijing. Shen Changyu, Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), delivered a written congratulation letter, which was read by Deputy Commissioner Lu Pengqi at the opening ceremony. The ceremony was chaired by Grigory Ivliev, President of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO).
In his letter, Shen emphasized that the EAPO and IP authorities of its member states are important partners of the CNIPA. The both sides have deepened extensive and practical cooperation in the IP field, as well as maintained close ties through the Belt and Road Initiative. China is willing to further strengthen its cooperation with Eurasian partners, share development opportunities, promote mutual benefit, and achieve joint development, thereby better benefiting both parties' innovators and IP users.
Grigory Ivliev provided an update on the latest progress in the Eurasian IP system. He expressed his hope to continue strengthening IP dialogue with China in the future, deepen multilateral and bilateral cooperation, enhance economic and trade exchanges and promote technological innovation between the two sides.
