Mr. Xing acquired the patent attorney qualification in 1992 and the lawyer qualification in 2005. Before joining Bairui, he worked for Fuyang Association for Science and Technology Bureau as a director in charge of patent issues. Later he worked for Hefei Chengxing Patent Agency Co., Ltd. and Shantou Chaorui Patent Agency Co., Ltd., accumulating extensive experience in administrative law enforcement, patent invalidation, litigation and patent counseling for large listed companies.
Mr. Xing specializes in patent prosecution in the photoelectric field and has drafted and handled more than 300 patent applications for Far East and Huaying, which are the two biggest photoelectric manufactures in China. In addition, he has in-depth knowledge and experience in planning and carrying out IP strategies for the automobile industry. Since 2001, he has been participating in the planning and enforcement of the IP strategies for Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. He has also dealt with the IP disputes between Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. and General Motors Company, assisting Chery in achieving great success.
Mr. Xing maintains smooth communication with relevant examiners in the field of automobile in the China National Intellectual Property Administration and relevant judicial experts in Beijing and Shanghai. From 2008 to 2009, he took part in the copyright infringement litigation of Ritu vs. Careland, which are well-known service providers of Electronic map in China. The case was selected as one of the top ten IP cases in 2009 by the Supreme People’s Court of China and was the only selected case in Guangdong.
