Mr. Li graduated from South China University of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Electronic Systems and a double degree in English for Science and Technology. After that, he obtained a Master’s degree in law from the University of Macau. He also obtained Patent Attorney Qualification and Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. Prior to joining Bairui, he used to work for Datang Telecom Technology Co., Ltd as the director in charge of the Network Communications Department. He joined Bairui in 2012 as a patent attorney.

With more than ten years of practical experience in intellectual property, Mr. Li has rich experience in technical solution mining, novelty retrieval, application writing, OA response in substantive examination, rejection analysis, request reviewing and patent and trademark litigation. He is familiar with cases of telecommunication engineering, machinery, electronics, Internet. Moreover, He is able to strive for greater benefits for clients in terms of high stability of patents from the perspectives of writing, defense, and application of the patent application procedures.

Mr. Li became a partner of Bairui and the director of the foreign operations team of Guangzhou Branch in 2019, focusing on serving domestic and foreign clients. He has experience in patent strategy planning for overseas patent applications for Chinese companies, including OnePlus Mobile Phone, Haojue Holdings Co., Ltd., and Leadyo IC Testing Co., Ltd. To control the quality of foreign applications filing, he chooses the excellent European and North American cooperation firms to provide services for the clients. And he strictly manages the patent application process in China for domestic and foreign clients. Mr. Li believes “Everything is for Service”, and he conveys his working philosophy to Bairui’s colleagues to create a service-oriented work team.
